about
There is no team. It is me.
When you hire Lumaire, you get me on the call, me writing the copy, and me answering the email on a Saturday. That is a real limit on how many clients I take, and it is the reason I know what is happening on every account.
I spent eighteen years asking software companies why their customers left. Local businesses have the same problem and nobody works on it.
A restaurant loses regulars the same way a software company loses accounts. Quietly, one at a time, for reasons nobody wrote down.
What to expect
How I work
I start by looking at what you already have rather than proposing something new. Most of the businesses I talk to are further along than they think, and the first thing I find is usually something already working that nobody is feeding.
I will tell you when something is not worth doing, including when the thing not worth doing is hiring me. I would rather lose a project than take money for work that will not move anything.
I do not do contracts that lock you in for a year. If the work is good you will keep going, and if it is not, a contract was never going to fix that.
Before this
the short version
Eighteen years running customer support and success teams at software companies, including one I grew from five people to ninety, and a $360M services portfolio at Rackspace. I worked on retention for a living before I did it for restaurants.
